Really, the only thing then that you need to learn is the layer option in photoshop. I use Photoshop Elements, so things might be in different places, but most of the photoshops are basicly the same.
Go to layers in the top menu and select new layer. Drag the new layer below your drawing. There should be a box that shows the layers somewhere. Highlight the layer with the drawing. Next find the blending mode in the layer box. It should say normal and have a drop down box. Then select multiply from the options. Select the empty layer again. You should be able to draw on this layer without affecting the sketch.

Right...forgive me for being a skeptic, but I find it hard to believe anything you say due to the fact that you have yet to give us ANY reason to believe.

Also, you say you PLAN to have operatives on the inside. Well once again forgive me for bursting your bubble, but that is quite harder then you make it out to be. You see, so far you have failed to convince anyone on this internet forum. How exactly do you plan on convincing some of the smartest people on the planet?
